The objective of this project was to animate typography for dialogue from a movie or television show. I chose to animate one of my favorite scenes from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, where Frank Reynolds discusses what he wants his character to be for a wrestling event that the gang is putting together. Because the dialogue is so colorful and chaotic, I wanted this animation to rely more on typography than graphics. I used different backgrounds and fonts to distinguish between Frank and everyone else. Since Frank is the main character of this particular scene, I used a generic typeface and plain background for everyone else, while using a trash bag background and grittier typefaces for Frank.
